Project Overview
Solar Gard is a window film brand under the Saint-Gobain group. Digitalpedi built the brand’s Türkiye headquarters site and the sites of 7 authorized installer centers from a single codebase: eight sites, live on eight separate domains. The headquarters site also hosts the installer network directory, which lists 20 authorized dealers in 11 provinces.
Why a single codebase
Dealer sites usually get solved one of two bad ways. Either they are squeezed into a single site as subpages, and no dealer shows up in search in its own city. Or each dealer gets a separate site, and over time the brand ends up with different designs at different levels of quality.
We took a third path. There is one Astro codebase, and each dealer is defined only by its own configuration file. The dealer’s name, address, phone, service scope and city details live in that file, while the design, performance and technical SEO layer is shared.
In practice, when a new dealer joins the network, no site is built from scratch: a configuration file is written and the site goes live. A fix made in the shared layer reaches all eight sites at once.
City separation across dealer sites
Each dealer’s site is localized to its own city. Page URLs are generated with the city name, a 301 redirect map for old URLs is produced automatically, and the headquarters’ contact details never leak into dealer sites, so two dealers don’t compete against each other on the same query.
Each site produces about 70 pages: product families, application areas, a glossary of technical terms, FAQs and a blog. Added up across the eight sitemaps, the network has 558 live pages.
Verification
The website claims on this page do not rest on our word alone. All eight domains above are publicly reachable, and each carries the “Yazılım: Digitalpedi” (Software: Digitalpedi) credit in its footer. The producer information is also visible in the sites’ source code.
Social media and ad management
In addition to the web work, Digitalpedi also handles the brand’s social media content and publishing plan, as well as the setup and management of its Google and Meta ad campaigns.
Business management software
Behind the websites there is also a service software layer: two installer centers in the network run their daily operations on the Solar Gard CRM we developed. The system covers appointments and initial consultations, work order creation and tracking, vehicle and customer history, customer account ledgers, SMS notifications and reports; warranty records are complemented by a customer-facing lookup screen.
Details are on the Custom Software page (in Turkish).
